The company is one of the four OSRAM manufactories in China, located at Shiqiao, Panyu, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. Set up in 1993, the company has about 4600 employees, with among 100 research and development engineers.

The company dedicated in developing, producing high quality and energy saving electronic control gears (ECGs). OSRAM Guangzhou is the largest ECG manufactory of OSRAM, about 70% of OSRAM ECGs are produced here.
